Downshifting And Quieting Your Mind
Tuning Forks - Downshifting and Quieting Your Mind (Binaural Beats)
This protocol for quieting your mind and down shifting your brainwaves works by entraining your brainwaves into gradually slower states, from an active Beta state, into a Delta state which is associated with deep relaxation and sleep. The protocol is based on John Beaulieu’s Brain Tuner protocols, and uses binaural beats.
Try listening to the download using earphones or headphones, when you feel that you need to quiet your mind or for when you’re ready to sleep. You may find it helpful to visualise and focus on the feeling of your mind and body slowing down and the feeling of your body and mind relaxing as you listen. The effects of sound therapy can be accumulative, so if at first you’re finding that it’s not effective, try listening for a number of days in succession, and your brain’s natural neuroplasticity will know what to do!
In the background you can hear the waterfall in Crow Wood, Carradale, Kintyre. Tuning forks and field recording were recorded by Michael Wintle-Brown.

Disclaimer. Please do not listen whilst you are working, driving, or any time that you need to be "present" or alert. The audio track is designed to slow your brainwaves down into a Delta brainwave state which is a very deep state. You may find that you feel drowsy or nauseous. Obviously I will not be with you to guide you through the process, or to bring you back to your usual functioning brainwave patterns. Set an alarm for yourself if you need to “return”, and listen whilst there is someone else in the house if possible. As with all situations, there are sometimes unknown individual risks that may arise that cannot be foreseen, and listening is to be taken at your own risk, with no liability on my part recognising that there is a rare chance of adverse effects. There is no guarantee that you will experience your desired outcome, however I hope that you do! If you have any questions just let me know.
