a meditation on labyrinths.

This piece of music was inspired by a conversation Eva Wolfram and I had at her Carlinstone art studio about her work involving labyrinths. and how at the centre of our journey into the labyrinth, we cross a threshold. This resonated with my experience of having a stroke. My stroke was a threshold, pass which I had changed, and through loss, gained something more. I am the same, yet transformed.

I invited Eva to name this drone and she gave it the title Magic Carpet, which speaks to spirituality, freedom, exploration and new possibilities.
